Noah Lyon (born September 11, 1979) is a visual artist and music composer based in NYC.

A graduate of the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art Noah Lyon works in drawing, painting, artists book, sound, video, new media, writing, performance and installation. He is the founder of Retard Riot a network of radical individuals devoted to art, music, philosophy, semiotics and political science Under several different monikers (most commonly Doctor Ninja he practices the art of cultural criticism, turntablism and plunderphonics. Beside his fine art career he maintains a prolific output of underground ephemera including Retard Riot zines, radio broadcasts, CD-R's, casettes, stickers, flyers,  collaborative tape music and multiple thousands of homemade buttons. 

Noah Lyon has exhibited at MoMA PS1, MOCA LA, Art Basel,  The Armory Show, Printed Matter Inc., Anthology Film Archives, Deitch Projects and many other international galleries. His work has been shown in museum exhibitions with Kenneth Anger, Andy Warhol, Robert Rauschenberg and other influential American artists. His artist books are in the permanent library collections of the Museum of Modern Art and the Tate Britain.
